Spaghetti Bolognese

  • Ingredients:

    • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 can (15 oz) crushed tomatoes
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Cooked spaghetti
    • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Instructions:
    1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat.
    2. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
    3. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    4. Serve the sauce over cooked spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese if desired.
